About the Role - Work Location Allentown, PA or East Norriton, PA

We’re looking for experienced, passionate professionals to join our team as Apprenticeship Instructors. In this role, you’ll educate the next generation of skilled tradespeople by delivering classroom and hands-on instruction using the NCCER curriculum. You’ll inspire, coach, and guide apprentices through technical concepts and real-world applications to help them build careers that matter. You'll also collaborate with industry partners to ensure that the training provided aligns with current market demands and best practices. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in the community while fostering a love for learning and craftsmanship in your students.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in your trade using lectures, demonstrations, group projects, and digital tools
• Create a positive, structured learning environment with clear expectations and consistent classroom management
• Prepare and administer performance-based and competency-based assessments
• Track student attendance and progress; maintain accurate and timely records
• Ensure effective use of instructional time and engagement in both classroom and lab settings
• Collaborate with ABC Eastern PA staff to support student success and continuous program improvement
• Participate in instructor training sessions and team meetings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment
• Serve as a professional role model, showing up on time, prepared, and committed to student success
• For the sake of our learning environment and to get the most out of the class, it's important to arrive on time and be ready to inspire.

What You Bring

• Required: Active Journeyman License in your trade
• Preferred: Master License and/or instructional experience
• Strong knowledge of trade-specific codes and industry standards
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentorship
• Demonstration of the highest levels of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude
• A team-oriented mindset and commitment to ABC of Eastern PA’s mission of building the construction workforce of tomorrow
