Sodexo Live! Airport Lounges is seeking to bring on a Area General Manager of Airport Lounge Operations for our British Airways Airlines client, based in Logan International Airport in Boston, MA . Combine your proven leadership and Hospitality Management technical expertise to enhance existing (or new) client programs. This position works closely with our client while managing the daily operations of food production and service in 3-4 lounges in the Northeast region. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and previous experience in a multi-unit role in corporate services and/or restaurants.

What You'll Do

The successful candidate will:

  • Monitor operations through planned and unplanned visits to each operating account to plan projects, implement new processes, and incorporate new technology, ensuring sufficient resources.
  • Develop business plans and budgets with each account GM that support system and district goals—review and analyze financial statements and data to ensure financial targets are met for both the client and Sodexo.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for the client, fostering a strong business partnership and assisting in contract negotiations.
  • Maintain quality and company standards by reviewing reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sodexo and client policies and procedures.
  • Oversee system succession planning, employee development, diversity initiatives, training, and counseling, promoting workplace diversity initiatives.
  • Provide strategic leadership within the system to maintain client satisfaction and retention.
