Position: Art Director (Learning & Development)

Location: 1224 Hammond Drive Dunwoody, GA 30338

Schedule: 4 days in office

Position Overview: The Art Director for Learning & Development will lead the visual execution of engaging, inclusive, and brand-consistent instructional content across multiple platforms. This hybrid role blends strategic design leadership with hands-on creation of assets that support impactful learning experiences. You’ll partner with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring training concepts to life—ensuring they’re visually compelling, easy to understand, and aligned with both learning goals and brand standards. While this role will primarily focus on Learning & Development, this art director will have opportunities to work across additional marketing projects including advertising, sales enablement, and internal culture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing instructional materials: Create visually appealing and informative graphics, infographics, and layouts for e-learning courses, presentations, and training materials
  • Optimize presentations for accessibility
  • Develop and execute design systems for learning across various channels, including digital, print, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with senior art directors, associate art directors, copywriters, and the video team to create cohesive and impactful creative solutions.
  • Ensure all creative work adheres to brand guidelines and meets project objectives.
  • Manage the creative process from concept development to final execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Provide art direction and feedback to associate art directors and designers, ensuring that all work meets the desired standards.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and presentations, clearly articulating design ideas and rationale.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design innovations to inform and inspire creative work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in art direction, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office tasks.
  • Ability to be in-office 4 days a week and attend various Ability trainings and events.
  • Specific experience with learning and development preferred.
