Job Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management preferred (an equivalent combination of experience and education is acceptable).
  • ServSafe Food Manager’s Certification or eligibility to attain it.
  • Proficiency in operational dimensions – inventory control, food safety, personnel management, and more.
  • Experience with cash handling and loss prevention.
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, basic math, and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. and perform essential job functions, including standing for long periods and working in variable temperature environments.
  • Must pass an airport-mandated FBI Criminal Background Check.
  • Reliable transportation is essential for this role.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

As the Assistant General Manager in Boston, MA, you will:

  • Collaborate with the General Manager to manage day-to-day restaurant operations efficiently.
  • Lead a team in delivering stellar customer service and upholding the brand's exceptional standards.
  • Oversee staff schedules to ensure optimal labor force for all shifts while managing labor costs.
  • Maintain food safety compliance and ensure exemplary food quality for Chick-fil-A’s signature offerings.
  • Coach, counsel, and develop team members while inspiring a high-performing work environment.
  • Handle employee relations and enforce compliance with company and airport regulations.
  • Oversee key administrative functions like inventory control, sales analysis, and P&L reporting.
  • Act as the liaison for employee security clearance and airport badging requirements.
