Job Description

Park Rose – Now Hiring Bar Manager

Park Rose, a new restaurant from Renwick Hospitality (Lindens, Altair, Lulla, Foxtail), is opening early October and seeking a Bar Manager to lead our opening team.

Inspired by the gardens of Rose Hill, Park Rose is a modern American-Italian restaurant designed to be an energetic neighborhood favorite—uplifted by the quality of its food, cocktails, and service. We aim to be a go-to spot for locals in NoMad and beyond, while also serving as a destination for special moments, vibrant hospitality, and exceptional meals.

At Park Rose, the Bar Manager is more than a beverage lead—they’re a culture-setter, a systems thinker, and a steward of the guest experience. We’re looking for someone who brings poise, precision, and personality to every shift, while empowering their team to do the same.

What You’ll Do

As Bar Manager, you’ll uphold Renwick Hospitality’s standards of excellence while shaping a bar program that reflects Park Rose’s identity. Key responsibilities include:

Operational Leadership
  • Conduct monthly inventory audits, variance analysis, and cost tracking to meet beverage targets

  • Lead ordering and vendor coordination to ensure pricing integrity and product availability

  • Submit payroll accurately, including tip declarations and labor adjustments

Team Management
  • Build and manage weekly schedules aligned with forecasted volume and labor goals

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance check-ins for the bar team

  • Foster a high-performance culture through clear communication and hands-on coaching

Guest Experience
  • Uphold brand standards for service, hospitality, and beverage presentation

  • Actively engage with guests during peak periods to reinforce quality and gather feedback

  • Serve as point person for bar-related activations and events in the Seed Library space

Compliance & Cleanliness
  • Ensure bar operations meet health department standards and liquor license regulations

  • Maintain updated signage, labeling, and safety documentation

Reporting & Strategy
  • Track weekly beverage sales, labor metrics, and cost of goods

  • Provide insights and recommendations to the F&B Director to improve profitability and efficiency

Creativity & Cocktail Development
  • Collaborate with the F&B Director and beverage team to develop cocktails that reflect Park Rose’s concept—botanical, seasonal, and story-driven

  • Contribute to the evolution of our signature programs, including house vermouths, infusions, and low-ABV offerings

  • Participate in tastings, R&D sessions, and seasonal menu planning to ensure the bar program remains fresh, intentional, and aligned with brand ethos

  • Empower bartenders to contribute ideas and techniques, fostering a creative and inclusive development process

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Bar Manager who blends technical skill with leadership presence—someone who’s as comfortable behind the stick as they are guiding a team. Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Full Time Availability in management.

  • Completion of Renwick Hospitality standards training (Completed during onboarding)

  • A strong foundation in classic cocktails, bar technique, and service standards

  • Experience leading bar teams in high-volume, high-touch environments

  • A collaborative spirit and creative mindset , with a passion for developing cocktails that reflect Park Rose’s concept

  • A commitment to learning, growing, and contributing to a culture of excellence

Bonus Structure

As Bar Manager, you are eligible for a 20% annual performance bonus , distributed as 5% per quarter , based on the current Renwick Hospitality bonus framework.

Bonuses are tied to key performance indicators, including but not limited to:

  • Online reputation and guest feedback

  • Beverage cost of goods (COGS) performance

  • Labor percentage and scheduling efficiency

  • Operational execution and team leadership

  • Event and activation success within the Seed Library space

Eligibility begins six months after your official start date , and bonuses do not begin accruing until that time. Note: Bonus structure is subject to change at the discretion of Renwick Hospitality.
