Job Title: Financial Services Representative II

Job Description:

Summary:

The Financial Services Representative II is a key player on our front-line team, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and making a positive impression on our customers. Your role will involve:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in opening new accounts for both commercial and consumer clients, leveraging your knowledge of bank products to recommend services that meet their needs.
  • Act as a backup for the teller line, performing all teller duties, including client transactions and cash drawer management.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Management Representatives and Relationship Managers to strengthen client relationships.
  • Provide exceptional customer service for lobby and phone inquiries, resolving client issues and ensuring follow-up.
  • Engage in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist in the opening and closing of the branch, following corporate security protocols.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with strong phone etiquette.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to make rational decisions.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
  • Familiarity with various account ownership types and consumer loan applications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to assist other local branches.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in a business-related field or two years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of two years of banking experience required.
  • Experience in a goal-oriented environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience is essential.

Computer and Software Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, IBS, and Salesforce.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • Notary License as required by the branch.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $22.50 - $27.00 per hour (based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies).
