Responsibilities
  • Support the sales process by preparing quotes and submissions in collaboration with producers
  • Work directly with clients during the initial underwriting process to gather necessary information
  • Present and explain insurance proposals tailored to client needs
  • Coordinate with carrier underwriters and internal marketing teams to ensure timely and accurate quoting
  • Communicate effectively with underwriting and rating teams to assess risk and placement options
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, carrier appetite, and coverage specifics
  • Ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met
  • Assist with renewals, coverage modifications, and ongoing account servicing as needed
Requirements
  • Valid insurance license required
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial lines coverages, industries, and carrier guidelines
  • Experience quoting accounts on carrier websites and preparing complete submissions for underwriters
  • Ability to secure the required documentation to complete the quoting proces
  • Skilled in preparing, presenting, and explaining quotes to clients
  • Professional and confident in a client-facing role, working in conjunction with producers throughout the underwriting and sales process
  • Comfortable working alongside underwriting, rating, and marketing teams to ensure accurate and competitive placement of business
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
