Position: Quality Control & Customer Service Associate

Location: NYC

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 (DOE)

*This position requires all Chinese/English/Japanese language skills at or above business-level
About the Company

Our client, a Japanese home goods manufacturer with a strong design and quality reputation, is preparing to launch a new brand for the U.S. market. They are seeking a trilingual professional to oversee quality control and provide customer service support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality standards for new and existing product lines.
• Coordinate with U.S. and Japan teams on design/testing, and communicate with Chinese factories on QC matters.
• Conduct sample and production inspections, maintain QC reports, and support product improvements.
• Provide responsive support to U.S. customers and retail partners, handling inquiries, claims, and returns as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QC or product development experience (consumer goods preferred).
• Strong knowledge of QC processes and inspection standards.
• Fluent in English, Japanese, and Chinese (spoken & written).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
