Position Overview:

We are a forward-thinking real estate development firm seeking a skilled Development Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of innovative real estate projects. This role is ideal for a strategic professional eager to drive residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments from concept to completion.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end development process, including site selection, feasibility studies, and project planning for new developments.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet design, budget, and timeline goals.
  • Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and funding strategies, securing financing and optimizing cost efficiencies.
  • Conduct market research and due diligence to identify opportunities and mitigate risks associated with land acquisition and zoning.
  • Supervise permitting processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and building codes.
  • Monitor construction progress, conducting site visits to address issues and ensure quality standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing and leasing teams to align development plans with market demand and tenant needs.
  • Prepare and present project updates, financial reports, and proposals to senior leadership and investors.
  • Foster relationships with government agencies, community groups, and partners to support project approvals and community engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years in real estate development, project management, or a similar role, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of real estate finance, construction processes, and zoning laws; proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
