Postiton Overview: As the Director of Rehab, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the rehabilitation department within our long-term care facility. you will paly a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive rehabilitation programs to enhance the well-being and functional independence of our residents. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and supervision to a team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans based on the needs of each resident. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless coordination of care. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs and make necessary adjustments. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. Participate in the recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development of rehab staff. Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology. Current state licensure and certification as a rehabilitation professional. Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a long-term care or rehabilitation setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in rehabilitation services. Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.
