Facility Manager Location Brunswick, GA :
JOB SUMMARY:
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing all PathGroup building projects and assisting in the building maintenance operations of stand-alone PathGroup locations and performing other related duties as assigned.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
- Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
- Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate intra-office moves
- Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
- Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations
- Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers
- Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness
- Negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and cost saving
- Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships
- Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met
- Ensure delivery schedules, quantity and quality criteria are met
- Check completed work by contractors and vendors
- Verify payment and invoicing match contract pricing
- Prepare and track facility budget
- Monitor expenses and payments
- Generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures and purchases
- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
- Oversee environmental health and safety
- Ensure security of the facility
- Assist in response to facility and equipment alarms and system failures
- Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants
- Report observed irregularities to prevent losses and damage to property
- Report any potential hazardous situations to the Technical Safety Officer and/or department management onsite.
- Become familiar with building operations, including the monitoring of the fire, and water systems.
- Assist in keeping the facility systems in working order and notify the Technical Safety Officer of issues or potential issues.
- Become familiar with assigned machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Exercise all laboratory safety precautions and adhere to lab procedures as stated in procedure manuals.
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
- Become familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
- Work with other departments within PathGroup and subsidiaries.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
EDUCATION & LICENSURE:
- High school diploma or GED required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in construction, maintenance, and all facets of facility operation.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of the following preferred:
- Procurement and contracts
- Health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Electrical and mechanical systems
- Solid computer and systems knowledge.
