Job Description

Manpower Engineering is looking for a Field Service Technician to support our client's customer sites, primarily Ohio.  This position requires 100% travel (5 days at a time, M-F) to customer sites in order to assist in the installation and commissioning of machinery. Will go through formal training program. Contract-to-perm opportunity.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Home base: Cincinnati, OH or Dayton, OH

Pay Range: $30-34/HR+ Potential to earn OT

Responsibilities:

• Installation and machine maintenance, which includes diagnosis, repairs, certifications, and re-calibration of various machines at customer sites.
• Perform service calls at customer sites to diagnose and correct problems involving company products
• Ensures prompt preparation and completion of service and expense reporting related to assigned duties. 
• Assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical issues. 
• Power supply replacements , align encoders and check signals, air filter replacements

Qualifications :

• Ability for 100% travel to client sites.  Travel Mon-Fri (home on the weekends)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. 
• Mechanical maintenance or mechanic experience.
• Computer ability
• CMM knowledge is very helpful as is servo knowledge
• Some electrical/electronics would be helpful.
• Excellent customer service. 
• Candidates can live in Cincinnati or Dayton, OH areas

• Need a clean driving/MVR record and must be US Citizen to be able to service federal facilities under ITAR requirements.
