The Role

The Senior Manager, Paid Search for Arrow will join a highly innovative team that is revolutionizing the way in which business is conducted today. As a member of the leadership team, the Paid Search Manager will drive and own the strategy, planning, development, execution, and evaluation of the organizations paid search marketing campaigns supporting multiple Business Units. Manages a team, and through their work and leadership, this digital leader will be a part of a team that will help transform Arrows go-to-market strategy globally as our business continues to shift & innovate the way business is done in the industry. The work that this Senior Manager will help lead will enable Arrows key customers & end users to tap into innovation & scale like never before. This is big. To top it off, this person will manage & develop their team, creating success through and with others.

  • Owns the strategy, planning, development, execution, and evaluation of the organizations paid search marketing campaigns supporting multiple Business Units.
  • Will work closely with our agency partners on the day-to-day management of paid search campaigns including keywords bought, ad copy creative and testing, bid management, landing page optimization, and budget management.
  • Relentlessly focuses on optimizing Paid Search performance.
  • Conducts pre and post-mortem analysis (financial results, hits and misses, and competitive activity) to generate lessons learned for strategic and tactical changes to future marketing content in conjunction with Finance and Business Unit marketing staff.
  • Develops and executes test hypotheses to drive continuous improvement and effectiveness of Paid Search.
  • Communicates regularly with key partners, service organizations, vendors, and supervisors regarding performance tracking, awareness and integration, seamless customer experience, etc.
  • Responsible for growth of online customer acquisition, retention, customer growth via PPC, PPC website traffic, Incremental ROAS, Life Cycle metrics, and search marketing revenue targets.
  • Assists in the delivery of reporting and forecasting on business metrics (weekly and monthly).
  • Implement roadmap for paid search marketing.
  • Direct agency to meet and exceed Online Business Unit objectives for the overall program and by BU: revenue, expense, ROI, bid management, keyword strategy, optimization, innovation, Life Cycle KPIs.
  • Develop new testing platform for copy and landing page strategies.
  • Work closely with other channels to drive set business outcomes.
  • Represents Paid Search in executive, business, and team meetings; defines and assigns cyclical reporting; and represents Paid Search throughout Arrow.
  • Build and develop a team of Paid Search experts.

Experience & Education

  • 7+ years experience in paid search marketing strategy and implementation.
  • 3 5 years experience with team leadership and management.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Computer Science, Advertising, or equivalent experience.
  • Innovative and creative problem-solving mindset.
  • Results-driven, and works with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge of PPC, implementation, and search algorithms via AdWords and Bing platforms.
  • Google AdWords certified and expert knowledge of paid search marketing.
  • Ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams, segment teams, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Proven negotiation skills and expertise in managing suppliers and vendors to reach optimum performance.
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships throughout an organization.
  • Proven ability to develop teams and organizational capabilities.
  • Position requires up to 10% travel.
