We are seeking an experienced and strategic Capital Finance Manager to be a key player in our financial management team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the company's capital structure, long-term financing, and capital investment decisions. The Capital Finance Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the company has the necessary funding to support strategic growth initiatives, while optimizing our cost of capital and managing financial risk.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Capex Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire capex process, from initial project submission and financial modeling to post-investment review. Evaluate and challenge project proposals, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and financial hurdles.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and manage the long-range capex forecast and annual budget. Provide insightful variance analysis and forecasting on capital spending.
  • Cash Flow Management: Model and analyze the cash flow implications of the capex portfolio, working closely with the Treasury team to ensure adequate funding and efficient use of capital.
  • Business Partnership: Act as a key financial partner to business units, engineering teams, and senior leadership, providing financial expertise and guidance on capital projects.
  • Valuation & Modeling: Build detailed financial models to evaluate the return on investment (ROI), net present value (NPV), and payback period for capital projects.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards to senior management on the status of the capex portfolio, including spending against budget, project performance, and key financial metrics.
  • Transform complex data into clear insights , telling the financial story to the CFO and ELT with crisp monthly updates, key inflection points, and forward-looking recommendations.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineering, and cross-functional business partners —anyone who spends capital—to guide financial decisions and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Improve and renovate processes in an environment where data is not fully mature —be resourceful, create efficiencies, and solve ambiguous problems.
  • Influence senior leaders by simplifying complexity and confidently presenting clear financial insights.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • U.S. Citizen
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including strong exposure to CapEx, P&L, Revenue, OPEX, and COGS .
  • Expert-level financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, valuation, and financial statement review capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence business decisions.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and able to distill complex data into concise executive-ready insights.
  • Comfortable operating independently and navigating ambiguity (“living in the gray”).
  • Personable and polished with the ability to partner directly with senior leadership, including the CFO.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience driving financial growth, process improvement, or building efficiencies in environments with maturing data.
  • Background partnering with numerous project managers or engineering teams in capital-intensive environments.
  • Experience leading or mentoring analysts, or managing workstreams within a larger finance team.
