Florist / Customer Service Associate

Location: Crane’s Creations – 8207 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood WA 98498
Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (based on availability)

About the Role:

Crane’s Creations in Lakewood is looking for a creative and customer-focused Florist/Customer Service Associate to join our team! In this role, you’ll design beautiful floral arrangements, help customers find the perfect gift or floral piece, and contribute to a warm and welcoming shop atmosphere. If you have a passion for flowers, design, and helping others, we’d love to meet you!

What You'll Do:

• Design floral arrangements for daily orders, holidays, events, and special occasions (like weddings and funerals)

• Greet and assist walk-in customers, offering suggestions or creating custom pieces to fit their needs

• Process and care for incoming floral shipments

• Restock and merchandise the sales floor to keep it fresh, inviting, and organized

• Maintain a clean, professional workspace and showroom

• Provide friendly, attentive customer service both in-person and over the phone

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in floral design, retail, or customer service is a plus (but we’re willing to train the right person!)

• A creative eye and appreciation for color, shape, and balance in design

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy, fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude and team spirit
