Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and versatile General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Hours are on 1st Shift, Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address potential issues. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Install, maintain, and repair various types of machinery and equipment.

• Perform basic carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks.

• Properly use our CMMS system to track work orders.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certificate or relevant apprenticeship preferred 3+ years of experience in general maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions
