Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4 – Schools for a potential new sale at a charter school to oversee the child nutrition program along Florida's Atlantic Coast . The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in K-12 food service and a thorough understanding of USDA regulations and policies. We are seeking a client-focused leader who is focused on elevating the program while achieving financial goals for both the client and Sodexo. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools.   • Have oversight of day-to-day operations;
  • Deliver high quality food service;
  • Achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • Develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

What You Bring

  • Have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • Have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This does not apply to external candidates;
  • Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement – Associate’s degree, with academic major in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field.

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years.

Minimum Functional Experience - 4 years of relevant school nutrition programs experience.
