Sodexo Healthcare is looking for a General Manager 5 to join the team in Los Angeles, CA . This role will be responsible for managing and directing all Food and Nutrition services at a medical center or hospital in the area. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player with a strong track record of strategic thinking, promoting an inclusive culture, and leading successful business initiatives.

Candidates must be a Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Dietitian, or meet other California certification requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Have oversight of day-to-day operations;
  • Achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • Develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • Develop strategic plans;
  • Ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;
  • Ensure Sodexo standards are met.

What You Bring

  • Candidates must be a Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Dietitian, or meet other California certification requirements. Have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, previous supervisory experience, and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • Have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • Ability to drive employee success to enhance the value of the food and nutrition team;
  • Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
