Job Description

Graphic Designer — The Editory

Location: New York, Hybrid

Type: Part-Time (with opportunity to grow)

Start: Within two weeks

Pay: $35–$40/hr

The Editory is not a traditional marketing agency. We’re a creative house that styles brands into cultural relevance. Through campaign-led content, creative direction, and editorial thinking, we partner with brands worth building — from emerging luxury to future icons in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

We're currently seeking a  Graphic Designer with a strong eye for elevated design, layout systems, and brand storytelling. If you understand the power of negative space, can make a deck feel like a campaign, and think in grids  and in feelings — you might be the one.

What You’ll Be Creating:

  • Visual identities and campaign collateral
  • Social media assets (grids, carousels, stories)
  • Client pitch decks + strategy visuals
  • Packaging mockups, typography treatments, editorial layouts
  • Occasionally: zines, lookbooks, branded toolkits

You Might Be Our Person If:

  • You understand luxury design beyond logos — tone, type, restraint, silence
  • You’re fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Figma (Notion is a plus)
  • You can translate moodboards into clean, magnetic visuals
  • You have opinions about typography (but know when to break the rules)
  • You thrive with a creative brief, but can elevate it beyond the ask
  • You’re interested in brands, not just visuals
  • You get the difference between  content and  campaigns

Bonus Points If:

  • You’ve worked with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands
  • You’ve built systems/templates for repeatable brand assets
  • You’ve ever said “this could be a print ad” about a deck slide

To Apply:

Send your portfolio + a short intro to careers@theditory.com or via application link

Feel free to include:

  • Your portfolio or IG
  • One brand you’d love to rebrand
  • A design moment that still inspires you

The Editory is a taste-driven, selective agency. We care more about point of view than number of years. Show us your eye.
