The Heywood Hotel is an award-winning, 7-room boutique hotel located in East Austin. We are looking for a dedicated, hard working individual ready to help our guests fall in love with our city. If you are a r esident of Austin for at least 1 year with local knowledge(especially East Austin area!) then this role is a great fit for you!

This is a great job for someone who likes to work for a small, independent, woman-owned company, enjoys being busy and thinking on their feet, and has a good eye for detail.
The Hotel Concierge is responsible for leading our concierge practice through the development of resources and relationships that help us provide our guests with the best experiences Austin has to offer. This is an important role for the Heywood, as our hotel's brand distinction is our insider knowledge of Austin. Our Hotel Concierge has expert knowledge of Austin's attractions, restaurants, bars, and transportation systems, and has a discerning eye in providing appropriate recommendations to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Our stellar front desk agents / concierges work directly with our guests to make sure they have exactly what they need for a fantastic stay.
Work includes preparing guest rooms and amenities, taking reservations, welcoming guests as they check in, directing them to the best Austin restaurants, cocktail lounges and activities, and assisting them with whatever they may need throughout their stay.
Our front desk agents help out with general hotel preparedness, including stocking supplies, managing inventories, preparing and quality-checking rooms, folding laundry and ensuring general hotel tidiness. We are a small and gutsy team. Everybody pitches in to deliver a world-class experience!
