Atrium Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant for the Embassy Suites Portland Airport hotel. This part-time evening shift position requires weekend availability. The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining hotel guest rooms, public areas, and laundry according to established protocols. Duties include removal of linen, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and polishing furniture, replacing light bulbs, remaking beds, replenishing supplies, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning rugs and upholstery, using approved cleaning chemicals, maintaining storage closets and carts, sorting laundry, using laundering equipment, disinfecting public areas, upholding quality and timing standards, training new associates, performing deep cleaning and preventative maintenance, reporting damage or safety issues, and following all company safety policies. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, bend, squat, walk, and stand for the duration of the shift. Preferred qualifications include prior hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience, customer service experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
