Interior Designer II (Commercial Focus, but will include Residential Projects)
Responsibilities
Select/specify interior finishes for finish drawings, legends and schedules
Select/specify interior furnishings
Design & build presentation boards
Prepare and conduct in person client presentations
Conduct remote presentations via various conferencing platforms
Select/specify FF&E
Assist in production of architectural interiors drawing sets
Assist with all construction administration services
Perform on-site visits during construction
Communication with consultants, product reps/vendors, installers & workrooms
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture
3-5 years interior design experience
Proficient at REVIT, ACAD, Bluebeam , Procore, Adobe Illustrator & Microsoft Office
Competent at architectural detailing
Working knowledge of building codes
Possess creative talent in conceptual designing via sketching/rendering or computer sketching/rendering
Knowledge of construction ways & means
Knowledge of interior materials
Works well with teams
Strong work ethic
Willingness to jump in and assist on other projects to meet deadlines
Astute attention to detail
Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills
Ability to effectively meet deadlines
Knowledge of design trends
Ability to perform field verification and documentation
Ability to navigate pace of work for both short and long-term projects
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational skills
Willingness to travel occasionally
