Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to provide therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. This role requires excellent patient assessment skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform various types of massage techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and pain management.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively address client concerns and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Provide education to clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa or occupational health setting as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area in compliance with health regulations.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant patient information accurately.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pain management techniques.
• Experience in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
• Ability to assess patient needs effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Previous experience in a med spa or occupational health environment is a plus.
