Overview Luxury Bridal Manager – Jared Jewelers – Orland Park Place. Base pay range: $15.75/hr – $20.10/hr. This role reports to the General Manager or Assistant General Manager in their absence. Responsibilities Serve guests and promote store sales. Consistently attain sales and performance standards, including Special Event and Store promotion results. Promote an environment of total guest satisfaction by making the guest’s shopping and jewelry needs the first priority. Provide an exceptional guest experience by aligning with the guest’s agenda and following up via the Clienteling system. Monitor guest flow and assist in matching the appropriate team member with the guest. Supervise bridal merchandise and train all team members on bridal merchandise. Oversee the implementation and administration of bridal merchandise, including sales performance, promotions, launches, and visual merchandising; attain sales and product knowledge across other merchandise categories. Develop and maintain complete knowledge of all bridal merchandise and train team members on features, benefits, quality, value, warranties, services, and procedures for each bridal brand and collection. Act as a point of contact with vendor partners and complete all vendor trainings, eLearnings, and incentive submissions for the store. Collaborate with Management Team to identify opportunities and develop training plans to improve sales, standards, and guest experience; assist in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, performance appraisals, and communicating pertinent information. Respond to guest complaints and issues promptly and courteously in partnership with the General Manager. Support management in their absence and assist with store operations as needed. Adhere to Signet’s Core Values; maintain regular attendance; follow all company policies and procedures, including Loss Prevention and Sales and Credit policies; maintain security in selling procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Meet or exceed three of the five performance standards, with Sales being one of the three. No Code of Conduct written counseling within the past six months. DCA certified. Minimum six months with the company or comparable experience with another company. Completion of the Minimum Training Requirements training module and passing the related quiz. Required Skills And Abilities Ability to lead by example by attaining required daily performance standards, Special Event goals and executing store promotions. Ability to train and develop team members; conduct store training meetings as needed. Professional appearance and demeanor; tactful, friendly manner when dealing with people. Ability to plan, organize, follow up, and supervise the work of others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including phone etiquette. Ability to make decisions, delegate, and follow up as appropriate. Reliable and dependable; ability to operate all sales-related equipment. Physical Demands Stand for long periods; reach with hands and arms; move among display cases; handle and feel merchandise; sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; lift and move up to 10 pounds; ability to discern differences in quality of merchandise. Work Schedule As required by the store to include evenings and weekends. Three nights per week or as required by the General Manager. Sunday on an alternating basis or as needed. Store hours during Special Events and key selling times of the year. Compensation and Employment Base pay, $15.75 – $20.10 plus commissions on sales.
