Job Summary:

Kinkaid is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mainline Operator to join our operations team. The Mainline Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining mainline equipment, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of products through the pipeline system. This role demands strong technical knowledge, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Equipment: Efficiently operate mainline equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to operational standards.
• Monitor Systems: Continuously monitor pipeline systems and equipment to detect any irregularities or malfunctions, taking corrective action as needed.
• Perform Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on mainline equipment to ensure reliability and longevity.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate safety gear and following safety procedures at all times.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous flow of products.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents or anomalies.
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to emergency situations, such as leaks or equipment failures, following established protocols and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipeline operations or a related field.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or relevant training preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of mainline equipment and pipeline operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various weather conditions, lift and move heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Working Conditions:

• Schedule: May require working nights, weekends, and holidays, including being on-call for emergencies.
• Environment: Work is performed outdoors and in all weather conditions, with exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, and hazardous materials.
• Safety Gear: Must wear appropriate safety gear and adhere to all safety protocols.
