We are immediately looking for Independent Contractors for the  Charleston area with WEEKDAY and/or WEEKEND availability!

Accurate Courier Services has been providing dependable time-critical delivery services for over 20 years.

As a leader in our field, we provide logistics services to Hospital Systems, Medical Foundations, Pharmacies and Laboratories.

Accurate Courier Services is currently looking for dependable and reliable couriers to service a Healthcare customer!

Available Contracts Include:

Daytime/Evening/Overnight

Monday - Friday 

Saturday - Sunday 

ADDITIONAL CONTRACT DETAILS:

1) One-on-one guidance on customer expectations for transporting various parcel types including pharmaceuticals, medical/surgical instruments and supplies, mail, documents, and specimen types (i.e. room temperature, frozen and refrigerated). Must show competency in order to stay contracted as a Medical Courier Driver.

2) One-on-one guidance on Confidentiality Rules and Regulations.

3) Responsible for maintaining a valid driver’s license, updated declaration pages outlining policy limits of insurance, and vehicle registration at all times.

4) Responsible for maintaining a good/working condition vehicle/phone.

5) Must be clean and well-groomed, keeping proper hygiene.

6) Must be drug and substance-free at all times

7) Held responsible for timely pick-up and delivery of all parcels (In accordance with time schedules)

8) Responsible for maintaining the proper Chain of Custody by using a Mobile Application at all times to record parcel and POD details.

9) Responsible for reporting any issues or problems while working on their assigned routes/orders to dispatch and/or the Operations Manager immediately.

10) Must wear company provided uniform and I.D. badge during Contracted work.

11) Required to follow Customer Policies, as well as Company Policies.

12) Perform outstanding, in-person customer service to internal and external customers.

13) Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

14) This company is on-going 24/7/365. 

15) Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. There will with a lot of standing, walking, and driving. 

16) Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 21 years of age. 
• Professional driving experience preferred (couriers, delivery routes, etc.)
• General knowledge of local area (traffic patterns, roads, short-cuts, etc.)
• Medical Background helpful.
• Valid Driver License of 3 years. 
• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Own vehicle with valid registration and auto insurance that meets company requirements.
• Pass background check, health requirements, and drug screening
