• Compensation: $17/hour + uncapped commission
• OTE $60,000–$90,000 for the first year

A Day in the Life of the Mortgage Loan Originator

As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you'll be a trusted advisor to current and prospective members, helping them secure home financing tailored to their needs. You'll actively engage in your community, build relationships, and promote mortgage products that support financial success. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, thrives in a member-first environment, and is motivated by both impact and income.

Responsibilities include:

• Originate and close first and second mortgage loans
• Build and strengthen relationships with members to identify home financing needs
• Recommend personalized mortgage solutions based on individual goals
• Increase visibility of mortgage services through community networking and outreach
• Assist with member education efforts, including presentations and seminars
• Contribute to the development of innovative mortgage products
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain up-to-date mortgage knowledge
• Serve as a resource for mortgage-related training and best practices

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as a loan officer
• 2+ years of experience in real estate
• Active NMLS license or eligible for license
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
