Salary Range: $35,000.00 – $45,000.00 Annually

Automotive Title Clerk Position Summary

Mullinax Ford in Montgomery is seeking a personable, detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our multi-store team. If you’re a self-motivated, organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment — we want to meet you!

Automotive Title Clerk Key Responsibilities

• Process all new and used vehicle registrations for the correct state.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of all legal documents.
• Confirm funds collected and correct lienholders paid off prior to processing.
• Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Process auction titles and manage receivables.
• Maintain and clean select schedules.
• Track and verify out-of-state titles.
• Provide administrative support to managers and other departments as needed.

What We’re Looking For in an Automotive Title Clerk

• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Basic understanding of accounting
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass background screening, motor vehicle check, and drug test

Prior dealership experience is preferred but not required.
