Overview JOB TITLE: Performance Analyst
LOCATION: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA
DURATION: 6 months
RATE RANGE: $55-65/hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of a Performance Analyst within the Performance Lab is to be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and creating reports based on performance data for products and their competitors. As a Performance Analyst, you will provide analysis and expert-level guidance on projects that will directly impact business decisions and products. You will report, triage, and provide support for any identified hardware and/or software performance bugs and issues.
Responsibilities Interact directly with Marketing, Architecture and Engineering across GeForce and Enterprise business units to provide competitive and internal data analysis to set industry performance expectations, support new product initiatives, and influence business decisions.
Bring-up, maintenance, and debugging of pre-production, reference, and consumer hardware to help shape the next great product.
Testing and bring-up of early software such as VBIOS, Drivers, benchmarking applications, and other technologies (RTX, DLSS, Reflex).
Testing various AI models and Data Science workloads while measuring specific metrics on performance.
Provide expert guidance and advice to marketing and engineering teams on all current and historical performance data through well written reports tailored to the particular audience
Improve existing data visualization to promote data generated by the Performance Lab utilizing internal tools as well as industry leading software suites such as Tableau, Power BI, and Grafana.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business marketing field.
Knowledge of Gaming and/or Enterprise Workstation application benchmarking fundamentals, performance analysis, and competitive data comparisons.
Proficiency with graphical benchmarks and related metrics: FPS, stutter, frame timings, clocks, voltage, and temperatures.
Solid understanding of using Linux, debugging graphical setups
Expert knowledge of hardware & PC components to identify and root-cause performance bottlenecks.
Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills.
Interest in the latest technology news and market trends, and familiarity with major technology publications (Review sites, Youtubers, Influencers, etc)
Ability to navigate change and pivot to new ideas while maintaining productivity
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects
Standout qualifications Familiarity with Ray Tracing, Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), Artificial Intelligence, RAPIDS and other industry leading technologies.
Experience with LLM development and deployment
Knowledge of STEM applications such as Matlab, Ansys, or other machine learning applications such as ResNet or Pytorch.
Comfortable using MacOS & familiarity with Apple Silicon (M3/M4) architectures.
