By facilitating and promoting health and safety, school-based nurses support the growth and development of children and youth in general education as well as students with special needs. A few of the other things they often do throughout the day-to-day include leading health-related interventions as well as:
\n\n While working as an independent contractor nurse alongside PTS, you may also participate on teams, like the Committee on Special Education, a student’s Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) team, and/or a Section 504 Team.
