Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for Security Operations Manager!

Team leaders with prior supervision experience in the security industry should apply immediately! Afternoon, overnight, weekend and holiday availability is required.

$20.00 p/hr

This position may require frequent travel within assigned geographic locations.

The Security Operations Manager (SOM) usually performs the following tasks under The Director of Operations. The Security Operations Manager (SOM) is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets at a designated site or location. This role involves overseeing security operations, managing security personnel, implementing security protocols and procedures, and coordinating with management and The Director of Operations.

• Resumes are required and prior security, hospitality, and residential services experience at a luxury condominium. Minimum of two (2) years previous security field supervision or leadership experience required. Florida Security D licensing (Require) and Florida Valid Driver's License and clean driving history (Require)

Responsibilities:

• Personnel Supervision:

  • Conduct routine patrol of assigned area to inspect and coach security officers at various locations
    

  • Ensures Officers perform all aspects of their assignments as per the site post orders and standard operating procedures.

  • Ensures Officers properly fill out all necessary paperwork including but not limited to their time sheet, daily activity reports, and incident reports
    

  • Assist in creating and managing the work schedule for the security staff

  • Ensure all work shifts are covered and required contract hours are met

  • Counsel the security staff as needed and directed by your manager

  • Conduct inspections and report findings to management

  • Train new officers when they are assigned to the site

  • Provide management with personnel recommendations as needed

  • Ensures time sheets and other logs are properly filled out by officers

  • Investigates any reported payroll or time discrepancies as needed / required

  • Ensures all time worked for personnel on site is present on time sheets and all contractual obligations are met
    

• Security Functions:

  • Stand post/ provide site coverage when needed

  • Must be able to properly and efficiently perform all essential job duties of the site security officers under your supervision.

  • Must be able to utilize all essential security equipment approved for use on site

  • Interact with client contacts in a professional manner

  • Report incidents to Marksman management

  • Document and report any on site injuries to local branch

  • Submit a weekly report on site activity to the local branch as requested

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Florida Security D licensing (Require)
• Florida Valid Driver's License and clean driving history (Require)
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years previous security supervision or leadership experience required
• Working knowledge of Winteam and Tracktic Software
• Flexible/ on- call schedule availability
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Attentive to detail
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
• Preferably bilingual

Available Schedule and Location:

• Fort Lauderdale area
• 8 hours shifts - afternoons and overnight
• Morning shifts - Not Available
• Weekend and holiday availability is required
