Job Title: SMT Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering of wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.

• Assemble electromechanical assemblies as required.

• Review and complete required production documentation.

• Operate and maintain SMT equipment to ensure efficient production of electronic assemblies.

• Inspect and troubleshoot PCB assemblies for quality assurance and process optimization.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and general labor.

• Proficiency in assembly and soldering.

• Ability to use hand tools effectively.

• Understanding of blueprint and electronic assembly.

• Familiarity with cleanroom and surface-mount technology.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Experience with SMT and electronic assembly.

Work Environment

Join a 154,000 square feet temperature-controlled facility with over 550 people on site. Work on one of the 7 SMT lines available. Second shift is from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 pm to 1:00 am. The facility offers a supportive work environment with a cafeteria and other modern amenities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Newark, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
