We're looking for an SMT Machine Operator in Burnsville, MN to join our team and bring custom electronic designs to life. If you have experience with SMT Machine programming and setup, along with a sharp eye for quality, this is your opportunity to excel in a thriving, tech-focused environment!


Hours and Pay:
Pay Rate: $19 - $24 per hour (Depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp to Hire


Key Responsibilities:

• Program and set up SMT Machines for custom-built orders based on product specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure peak operation and minimal downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints for custom-built circuit boards.
• Work efficiently on assigned workstations, monitoring and tracking the quality of assemblies.
• Inspect, assemble, and touch up components per J-STD-001 standards to meet IPC 610 quality guidelines.
• Maintain and enforce established QMS procedures and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Provide timely, accurate feedback to SMT operators for process improvements and quality adjustments.
• Solder to meet IPC 610 quality standards on components as small as 0201 chip components, using both Tin-lead and Lead-free alloys.
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of programming and setup experience with SMT Machines.
• 2+ years of experience in electronic assembly.
• Strong understanding of SMT operating procedures and electronic manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and read blueprints with precision.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with IPC 610 and J-STD-001 standards is highly preferred.
