Join to apply for the Spa Therapist role at Biltmore Hotel . Position Summary: Perform massage and body treatments requested by Spa Guests. This position requires adherence to the policies and procedures of the department as outlined in the Biltmore Standard Operating Procedures (BSOPs). Responsibilities Provide Spa services to guests in a timely, courteous and efficient manner in accordance with Biltmore Standards and Protocols and Leading Hotel Standards. Escort clients to and from treatment rooms and attend to any immediate needs throughout the Spa visit. Maintain and respect treatment rooms, equipment and products. Assist in providing information to inquiries and help coordinate guest requests for services. Promote and sell Spa retail products. Attend all quarterly staff meetings. Commit to a six-month set schedule as discussed with the manager upon hiring. Support other spa departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Experience and Education High School Diploma required Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position in the Spa industry Knowledge of general modalities and Spa products Skills Speak, read, write and understand the English language Maintain flexibility around schedule in adherence to blackout dates Compute accurate mathematical calculations Provide legible communication and directions Attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize and organize Think clearly, remain calm and resolve problems with sound judgment Follow directions thoroughly; understand guest service needs Work cohesively with co-workers and with minimal supervision Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent resort data Use a computer keyboard and possess basic typing skills; moderate to advanced computer skills Adapt to a dynamic environment and multitask Physical Demands Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 20 pounds without assistance Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods Reach, bend, twist, and stoop as required Operate office equipment and communicate effectively with staff and guests Work indoors in hotel environment; adaptability to temperature variations Licenses or Certifications Must have a valid Florida State Massage license Grooming All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Biltmore Hotel standards.
