Who We Are:
The HORD team, nationally known for our world class pig production, is currently looking for a trailer wash attendant specialist. Headquartered in Bucyrus, OH, this essential position offers training on livestock movement and a supportive team-focused atmosphere.


A Day in the Life:
Our Trailer Wash Attendant specialists generally work M-F, ensuring you have evenings and weekends for family time. Primary responsibilities include:

• Washing, disinfecting and drying trailers to maintain our high standards for cleanliness and herd safety
• Cleaning the interior of truck cabs
• Driving a gooseneck trailer from the wash bay into the dryer and clean storage building
• Operating with attention to detail regarding all SOPs and biosecurity practices.

What You Need:

• Experience driving a gooseneck trailer up to 42 feet long
• Candidates must not currently own or have routine contact with non-Hord pigs
• Ability to lift 55 lbs., climb, bend, sit, and power wash for extended periods of time
• Time management skills to ensure trailers are washed on schedule
• A high level of respect for team members
• Impeccable record of reliability/dependability
• Willingness to learn and carry out complex instructions effectively
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Excel, and email functions

Duration and Hours:

• 4 days per week estimated time ~20 hours/week
• Open availability for hours. Preference of mornings or evenings for wash times.
