Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce clear and accurate X-ray images of breast tissue

• Position and compress patients' breasts for optimal image acquisition

• Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of procedures throughout

• Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff

• Evaluate mammogram images for quality and may require retakes to ensure optimal results

• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation

• Stay up-to-date on the latest mammography techniques and best practices

• May assist physicians during diagnostic procedures

• Promote breast health awareness by educating patients on importance of regular screenings

• Must be ARRT registered with mammography license or certification required

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred

• Minimum of one year of experience in mammography ideal

• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)

• Blue scrubs preferred

• Work week defined as Sunday morning 12:01 AM through Saturday night 11:59 PM

• Must be willing to relocate to Moab if living outside the area

• Full-time, benefitted position with Level 4 Trauma designation
