Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN with active MA licensure and Cath Lab experience for a 13-week assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Cardiovascular Suite of a hospital setting
• Day shifts are 10 hours, typically 8 am to 6 pm or 7 am to 5 pm
• 40 hours per week expected
• Call is required, including 12-hour overnight and weekend shifts based on department needs
• Call response time requirement is 30 minutes
• Caring for cardiac patients undergoing interventional and emergent procedures
• Must be proficient with balloon pump support and able to take call for STEMI cases
• Uses Epic EMR with prior Epic experience required
• Responsible for circulating and monitoring in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, including emergent interventions
• Must pass required Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• Scrub color to be specified by facility upon onboarding
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of the rotating call schedule
• Team-focused environment with support from experienced cardiovascular staff

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active MA RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• Previous Cath Lab RN experience required
• Interventional radiology experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred
• Must have documentation of flu vaccine and COVID vaccine (with booster), only medical exemptions accepted
• Must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (including perm, per diem, or contract roles) for at least 6 months
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility will be considered
