\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 8-hour day shifts with call responsibilities: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
\n• 12-hour shifts also available
\n• Department: Pre-Op RN with 14 beds
\n• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3
\n• 3 days of unit-specific orientation provided
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
\n• 3 years of experience strongly preferred
\n• BSN not required
\n• No clinical involvement required
\n• Must be able to multitask, be proficient, and work in a very fast-paced environment
\n• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics
\n• Handle various case types including total joints, sports medicine, arthroscopies, cystoscopies, DaVinci XI robotic cases for General/GYN/Urology, ION robotic cases, and open heart procedures
\n• No weekend requirements unless working in PACU
\n• No holiday requirements unless working in PACU
\n• EPIC charting system
\n• Must live more than 50 miles from facility
\n• Cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities
Facility:
\nThis medical center is a Level 2 trauma facility providing comprehensive acute care services. The facility features advanced surgical capabilities including robotic surgery programs with DaVinci XI and ION robotic systems. The pre-operative and post-anesthesia care units handle a diverse range of surgical specialties from pediatric to geriatric patients, including orthopedic procedures, sports medicine, urological procedures, and cardiac surgeries. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and operates with modern technology and equipment.
