Client in Los Angeles is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work onsite

Remote or In Office: In Office
Hours: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm

Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Pay: $20-$24/hr
Duration: temporary assignment - 2-3 months.
Administrative Support:
Answer and direct phone calls.
Organize and schedule appointments.
Maintain and update office files, records, and databases.
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas and take meeting minutes.
Office Management:
Order office supplies and ensure that all necessary equipment is functional.
Manage office organization, cleanliness, and maintenance.
Coordinate office events, such as meetings, conferences, and team-building activities.
Communication:
Liaise with clients, vendors, and staff on behalf of managers or executives.
Respond to emails and phone inquiries promptly and professionally.
Prepare and proofread communications for clarity and accuracy.
Scheduling and Coordination:
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives or teams.
Ensure all scheduled events are properly organized and prepared for.
Monitor and manage calendar appointments, ensuring no conflicts or overlaps.
Customer Service:
Greet visitors and direct them as needed.
Provide assistance with customer inquiries or issues.
Financial and Reporting Tasks:
Maintain and process expense reports.
Assist with budget tracking and financial reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in other office roles.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
