Sodexo Live! Airport Lounges is seeking to bring on a Area General Manager of Airport Lounge Operations for our British Airways Airlines client, to be based in Logan International Airport in Boston, MA. Combine your proven leadership and Hospitality Management technical expertise to enhance existing (or new) client programs. Position works closely with our client while managing the daily operations of food production, and service in the 3-4 lounges in the Northeast region. This candidate will have a strong financial background, and previous experience in multi-unit roles in corporate services and/or restaurants.

What You'll Do

The successful candidate will:
  • Monitor operations by planned and unplanned visits to each operating account of the system to plan projects, implement new processes, client interactions, and new technology to ensure sufficient resources.
  • Develop business plan and budget w/each account GM that supports the System and District goals – Reviews and analyzes financial statements and data and other financial information to ensure attainment of financial goals for both the client and Sodexo.
  • Serve as Central Point of Contact for Client Liaison promoting a solid business partnership - assists in contract negotiations for the system.
  • Maintain Quality & Company Standards – reviews and maintains reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Sodexo / System Client(s) policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for system succession planning/employee development/diversity initiatives/training/constructive counseling. Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the respective units within the system to maintain client satisfaction and retention.

  • Strong leadership skills with supervisory experience and ability to work collaboratively.

  • Experience with fiscal accountability, budget forecasting, and controlling food and labor costs.
  • Excellent leadership, administrative, and client relationship skills.
  • Culinary production experience with a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and deliver high customer service standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
