Overview
Our high-end cabinet shop is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and finishing techniques, with a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship. As a Cabinet Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing cabinets to meet our clients' specifications, ensuring that each piece is both aesthetically pleasing and durable.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and applying primers as needed.
Apply stains, paints, and finishes using various techniques to achieve desired results.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during the finishing process.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and edges for a polished finish.
Qualifications
Proven experience in cabinet finishing is preferred.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to woodworking and finishing tasks.
Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics in cabinet design and finish.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues during the finishing process.
A commitment to maintaining safety standards while working on-site or in the workshop.
