Responsibilities include proficiently operating basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper quality; developing and maintaining an understanding of the products they assemble and how they impact the business; continuous learning of the principles, practices, and processes of their job as changes require and similar jobs; safely handling materials utilizing proper lifting techniques, including overhead hoists/lift tables; communicating hazards and/or equipment issues with leadership; occasionally providing basic training to employees as needed; cross training in different areas within the department and flexing to different stations as needed. Schedule is Saturday, Sunday, Monday 5pm - 5am. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent, being detail oriented and organized, working in a team environment in a professional manner, effective communication, and utilizing applicable hand tools with precision. Physical demands include regularly talking and hearing, using hands to manipulate objects or controls, standing and walking regularly, occasionally stooping, bending or reaching above the shoulders, occasionally lifting up to 25 - 50 pounds, and typical conditions of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
