About the Role:
As a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician at our remote dispensing site in Kirksville, MO, you'll support all functions of our mental health pharmacy. Your primary responsibilities will include dispensing prescriptions and performing essential clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Hours: This is a per diem position, working on an "as needed" basis to cover PTO and call-outs at both the Kirksville and Hannibal (approximately 1.5 hours away) locations. Pharmacy hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (lunch 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm).
What You'll Do:
Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
Fill prescription orders and prepare them for verification by the pharmacist.
Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
Verify medication stock and enter data into the computer to maintain inventory records.
Collaborate with the Pharmacist on pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Perform various clerical duties.
Communicate effectively (verbally and in writing).
Maintain strong attention to detail.
Provide coverage at both the Kirksville and Hannibal sites as needed.
What You'll Need:
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Missouri.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB).
1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience in Missouri.
Reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license.
Ability to work independently in the pharmacy when providing coverage.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16.00 to $28.85 per hour, based on experience, location, and other factors.
