Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Cantonment, FL

Pay Range: $30 / hour or higher, based on experience

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

What's Needed?

• At least 5 years of field experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in quality control is a plus.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment.

What's the Job?

• Conduct inspections of in-process and final products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections on:
• Commercial and industrial electrical control and utility systems (NEC, UL, local codes, customer standards, etc.)
• Instrumentation installations
• PLC, Motor Control, and DCS wiring installations
• Analyzer installations and sample system tubing/piping
• Metal fabrication, welding, painting, and enclosure/building construction
• Power terminal torque inspections
• Mechanical elements (torque, square, level, etc.)
• Use test equipment and participate in customer performance testing.
• Perform leak testing with gases or other methods to verify integrity in industrial analyzer systems.
• Generate reports for internal and customer use, including discrepancies, corrective actions, and nonconformance.
• Oversee receiving inspections for all Customer Furnished Material (CFM) and special-order parts.
• Participate and monitor employee safety programs.
