Are you a sales dynamo with a passion for the construction industry? We're looking for a driven Business Developer to be the architect of our client's continued growth in St. Louis. You'll be the face of the company, forging strategic partnerships, uncovering lucrative opportunities, and playing a pivotal role in expanding their market footprint.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Craft and implement winning sales strategies to smash targets and propel our company's success.
  • Build and nurture key relationships with homeowners, property managers, and developers, becoming their trusted advisor.
  • Uncover hidden market opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends, giving us a competitive edge.

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the roofing and construction industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and estimators, to develop competitive proposals and pricing strategies.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote company services and build brand awareness.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards to ensure compliance in all business activities.
  • Continuously assess and improve sales processes and strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales or business development, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and best practices is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (or willingness to learn).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required.
