As an unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular checks throughout the assigned area, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for monitoring the premises using a company vehicle as required. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and work collaboratively with your team to address any security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri07:00 AM - 05:00 PMSat09:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the client for the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that primarily involve driving, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
