Job Description

We are seeking a Supply Chain Documentation Analyst for a 6-month onsite engagement with our Healthcare Supply Chain team. The primary responsibility of this role is to capture and document the current state business processes related to inventory management, in support of an upcoming Inventory Management System migration. This individual will work closely with supply chain staff, gather process details, analyze data, and create clear, standardized documentation to ensure a smooth transition.

• Partner with Supply Chain staff to document current state inventory management processes across multiple teams.

• Develop process documentation, workflows, and SOPs that accurately reflect existing practices.

• Extract and organize data from databases and spreadsheets (primarily Excel ) to support process analysis and documentation.

• Interface with the Inventory Management System migration team to ensure alignment between documentation and system requirements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across purchasing, materials management, distribution, and clinical supply teams.

• Provide detailed, well-structured documentation to support knowledge transfer, training, and migration readiness .

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all documentation.

• Proven experience in business process documentation, supply chain analysis, or process improvement .

• Familiarity with healthcare supply chain and inventory management processes strongly preferred.

• Advanced Excel skills for handling large datasets; ability to create organized reports.

• Strong technical writing, process mapping, and documentation skills (Visio, Lucidchart, or similar a plus).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

• Ability to work onsite at the Hospital Downtown throughout the engagement.
