The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user-centered design, accessibility standards (508 compliance), and modern web technologies. Responsibilities Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for custom web applications. Develop new UI components for various DEA applications. Ensure all designs meet 508 compliance and accessibility standards. Collaborate with developers to create wireframes, storyboards, mockups, and prototypes. Enhance web application navigation, graphics, and overall user experience. Create and maintain style guides and design standards. Gather UI design requirements from end-users and business analysts. Communicate technical requirements to development teams. Conduct usability testing and interface functionality reviews. Actively participate in Agile/Scrum team activities. Other duties as assigned Qualifications 3+ years implementing and testing 508 compliance standards. 5+ years of expert-level experience in web design standards. 5+ years of experience with HTML/CSS design. 4+ years working with version control systems such as MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Git. Active Secret Clearance is required. Industry-recognized UI/UX certifications. Estimated Salary/Wage USD $110,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $120,000.00/Yr.
