📍 Location: NYC (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite)

We're looking for a Senior Backend Python Developer (10+ years) to join an innovative, AI-driven team in NYC. You’ll work on high-performance backend systems supporting next-gen AI applications. Experience with GenAI is a plus , but not a must—we’re looking for deep Python expertise, cloud experience, and a product-focused mindset.

🔍 What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems using Python.
• Develop RESTful APIs with frameworks like FastAPI .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable features and optimize performance.
• Work on cloud-based deployments (Azure or AWS).
• Contribute to DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines.
• Engage in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint ceremonies.
• Support AI and GenAI-related initiatives within the platform.

✅ Requirements:

• 10+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong command of Python , FastAPI , Pydantic , and SQLAlchemy .
• Skilled in building RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
• Proficiency in SQL and database optimization.
• Cloud experience with Azure (preferred) or AWS .
• Familiar with services like Azure Functions , Logic Apps , and Key Vault (or AWS equivalents).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Version control expertise (Git, Azure DevOps).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
